The Angel

The Angel is a short black comedy about two students who, new to London, walk into the wrong pub looking for a pool table and find themselves stuck in a back room with two ex-cons, playing for what could be their lives. It stars Katie Ellen-Jones and Guido Cavaciuti as the two freshers, and Carey Thring and David Mott as the two ex-cons.

Making The Angel

The back room of The Angel was a set we built in the old factory at YWAM Harpenden (this factory was also recently used for Suffragette). It was overseen by the art director Gabriella Pusztai. The Angel could not have been made without all the crew giving up their time and skill; and also the cast of course. As well as YWAM Harpenden, Alison Taylor from The Bricklayers' Arms, Luton, must be thanked for allowing us to film there. The Royal British Legion Harpenden supplied props.
